AIOU-Allama Iqbal Open University Home-Based Education

AIOU is the second-largest university in the world. It is a home-based university. The Pakistani Parliament made this university in May 1974.

This University gives education to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. AIOU is the second name of this university. This university is located in the city of Islamabad.

Allama Iqbal Open University has 44 regional centers all over Pakistan. So, it includes Faisalabad, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, etc.

There are 1,326,266 students and 2899 academic staff. This university’s name is on the name of Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
